Music at St John's (MASJ)

St. John’s has a long-established choral tradition with a choir of high standard and the church has become a venue for several other local community choirs (including The Aeolian Singers, The Hemel Hempstead Singers and The Chipperfield Choral Society), as well as hosting various school concerts, carol services and ceremonial civic events.

Music at St. John’s is a Registerd Charity (Number 1119580) with the long-term mission of promoting music throughout the wider communities served by St. John’s, for education, for enjoyment and for worship.

As a charity we seek to develop strong relationships with local schools, youth groups, music and choral societies, churches and other appropriate organisations, and so placing music and the ministry of St. John’s (and our partner churches) at the heart of the community.

For further information about music making at St John's (including our popular lunchtime series) please see the news page or use the contact form available here.
